When the Los Angeles Lakers won an NBA championship last week, it was not just a victory for the players on the court. Another winner was Khloe Kardashian, who may or may not have married Lakers forward Lamar Odom last year. The reality TV personality may have another White House visit in store for her soon.

Earlier in the year, Kim Kardashian, who had a long romantic entanglement with Reggie Bush, also enjoyed a pro sports championship when the New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl.

At least one NBA player thinks the famous family may be part of the Lakers' and Saints' success. Ty Lawson, the standout rookie for the Denver Nuggets, tweeted today: "I heard if u hit a kardashian u win a championship.. Kim k holla me!!! I need ya for 17 min." Afterwards he added that he is willing to "take one for the team."

Lawson even referenced the recent rumor that Kim Kardashian is dating Dallas Cowboy Miles Austin, writing that if the receiver wins a championship next year, the "thing is amazing." Scroll down to see the tweets

Multiple sources tell Yahoo! Sports that William Wesley, who is a member of the inner circle of LeBron James, is telling teams with salary-cap space that their chances of landing James would dramatically increase if they are able to trade for Chris Paul.

Paul is not on the trade market but some team executives believe that acquiring the All-Star point guard is not out of the realm of possibility if a high price is paid.

"He can be had with [current owner George] Shinn in there, but once the new guy [Gary Chouest] takes over, he's off the market," one executive said.

Memphis recently offered O.J. Mayo in a package for Paul, but the talks went nowhere.

The Nets are willing to offer the third overall pick, as well as any player on their roster except for Brook Lopez, according to sources.

The Blazers have long been in the market for Paul and are expected to make an offer, according to a source.

The Hornets are not considering dealing Paul, according to sources that spoke with the Times-Picayune.

The first of what figures to be many draft-related trades went down Tuesday when the Warriors agreed to trade swingman Corey Maggette to the Bucks for Charlie Bell and Dan Gadzuric, sources confirmed to CBSSports.com.

By acquiring Maggette, Bucks GM John Hammond took on $30.8 million over the next three years but also cleared the way for John Salmons -- a key to Milwaukee's playoff appearance -- to leave as a free agent. Salmons intends to opt out of his contract, and the Bucks need someone to replace his scoring. According to sources, Hammond still hopes to have Salmons back, but needed to make a pre-emptive move to avoid leaving what would've been a gaping hole in the Bucks' offensive production.

The Bucks save about $1.5 million next season, but Golden State clears about $6.2 million in 2011-12 cap space by making the deal.
