The Warriors and Knicks have agreed in principle to a sign-and-trade deal that would send power forward David Lee to Golden State for Anthony Randolph, Ronny Turiaf and Kelenna Azubuike, multiple sources confirmed on Thursday.

According to one source, the terms of Lee’s contract have been agreed to, the paperwork has been completed and all that’s needed are the pertinent signatures.

The Warriors and free-agent power forward David Lee have agreed to contract worth about $80 million over six years, according to team sources.

The deal paves the way for a sign-and-trade with the New York Knicks. Golden State would send forward Anthony Randolph, center Ronny Turiaf and swingman Kelenna Azubuike to New York in exchange for Lee.

The agent for forward David Lee, Mark Bartelstein, has told ESPN's Chad Ford that reports of an agreement between the Warriors and Knicks on a sign-and-trade involving his client are premature.

"There are a million things going on right now," Bartelstein said. "We are still talking to five different teams about different scenarios. David hasn't made up his mind and nothing has been agreed to. I'm not sure where all of this stuff is coming from."

The proposed deal, according to sources out of the Bay Area, would send Lee to the Warriors for Anthony Randolph, Ronny Turiaf and Kelenna Azubuike.

The Heat and Raptors have expanded discussions of the sign-and-trade sending Chris Bosh to Miami to include two more teams, Charlotte and Houston, two people with knowledge of the talks told CBSSports.com Thursday.

The trade, which is still exploratory and not close to completion, would send Bosh to Miami, Michael Beasley to Charlotte and Tyson Chandler to Houston, the sources said. Toronto, already settled on taking back the 2011 first-round pick previously traded to the Heat, is trying to extract a player from the Rockets in addition to the trade exception it would get from Miami.

"It has legs, but I don't know where it goes," one of the people familiar with the discussions said.

A third person with knowledge of the talks said it's possible that the field could shrink to three teams, with Houston dropping out of the mix.

With the Heat planning to add sharpshooter Mike Miller to their potential Dream Team of Bosh, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, Miami would slide Miller's salary -- in the $5 million range -- into Beasley's space under the cap. By that math, the Heat would only have room for three full-max players if each one agreed to take abotuu $1 million less than the $16.57 million available under the collective bargaining agreement.

With LeBron James now on board, the Miami Heat are reportedly talking with Allen Iverson to fill out their thin roster – and the source of the report is, randomly enough, Ashton Kutcher. The King of Twitter hasn’t revealed his source, but Kutcher has nonetheless informed his five million-plus followers that he “just heard AI is talking to MIA.” Even once LeBron James and Chris Bosh sign with the Heat, and Dwayne Wade re-signs with the team, the only two other players on the Heat roster will be Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers, with the entire rest of the 2009-2010 team either still in free agency or having been jettisoned altogether. Allen Iverson, who starred in Philadelphia and has since played with too many teams to count, could fall into that category of well-off NBA veterans who are attempting to cement their legacy by winning an NBA championship as a role player on a contender at any salary available. And with the Miami Heat now having three of the league’s top players in their prime on the same roster, the team suddenly becomes that ideal destination for veterans in that situation – so long as they don’t mind playing at or near the NBA minimum salary, as the Heat will have virtually no salary cap room to work with once finalizing the James, Wade, and Bosh deals.
